How To Be Happy is an indie comedy feature film about a marriage counselor named Cormac, who after the breakdown of his own marriage becomes overly involved with his clients in a misguided attempt to save their relationships. His antics attract more than he bargained for and soon he has a seductive private investigator named Flor hot on his tail and even worse a notorious Dublin gangster, Larry “The Mangler” Doyle.

How To Be Happy was directed by Brian O’Neill (Two Joker Films), Mark Gaster and Michael Rob Cosdine. It was written by Conor Horgan (One Hundred Mornings) and Produced by Richie Bolger and David Brady under Filmbase.

The film stars Brian Gleeson, Gemma-Leah Devereux, Stephen Mullan, Brian Fortune and Carrie Crowley. In it’s first festival outing at the Galway Film Fleadh 2013 it was the only film to receive a second screening due to popular demand and both screenings sold out. The team behind it are currently in negotiations for a distribution deal.
